Der Vollcarbon-Rahmen ist ultraleicht und hocheffizient, damit du Steigungen mühelos erklimmst und jedes Watt optimal nutzt. Der hintere Dämpfer wurde neu positioniert und halbintegriert ins Oberrohr eingebaut – so wird Gewicht reduziert und zusätzlicher Platz für einen zweiten Flaschenhalter geschaffen.

Die neue FlexPoint Pro-Federung bietet einen sanften, aktiven Federweg von 120 mm am Hinterrad, damit Sie raue Abfahrten mühelos bewältigen und technische Anstiege kraftvoll meistern können. Mit einem Flip-Chip können Sie das Handling für alle Geländearten feinabstimmen.
SYSTEM-INTEGRATION
Die neue integrierte Lenker-Vorbau-Einheit aus einem Stück bietet mehr Nachgiebigkeit, reduziert Stösse und Vibrationen und sorgt so für bessere Kontrolle und höheren Fahrkomfort. Du kannst zwischen zwei Modellen wählen: Contact SLR XC Integrated aus Carbon und Contact SL XC Integrated aus Aluminium. Beide Varianten überzeugen mit nahtloser Kabelführung und sind in vielseitigen Grössen verfügbar: 780 mm Breite und Vorbaulängen von 50 bis 90 mm.

Developed as superlight rear suspension for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, this 120mm, linkage-driven, single-pivot system is semi-integrated and attached beneath the top tube with a full-composite swingarm to minimize frame weight.

ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE
A high-pressure molding process is used to produce a complex shaped carbon-fiber upper rocker arm that is lighter, stiffer and stronger than an aluminum version.

ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY
A two-position flip chip lets you adjust frame geometry and fine-tune the handling for your riding style and terrain. The High setting locks in a steeper head and seat tube angle, along with a higher bottom bracket, for sharp, aggressive handling on tight, technical terrain. The Low setting reduces the head and seat tube angles and lowers the bottom bracket, offering slightly more relaxed handling and greater control for high-speed descents.

TWO BOTTLES
New frame design has space for a second water bottle. Integrated mounts on the the seat tube allow you to carry more hydration without having to wear a pack—a major upgrade for marathon races or longer XC rides.

OVERDRIVE
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

A massively oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and increased stability on the non-driveside.

ADVANCED SL COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIE
Diese Carbonfaser des höchsten Grades wird verwendet, um ein exklusives Rahmenmaterial aus Verbundstoff herzustellen, das im eigenen Werk gewebt und verarbeitet wird. Bei der Carbon-Nanotube-Technologie (CNT) wird ein mikroskopisch kleines Polymer der speziellen Harzmischung von GIANT hinzugefügt. Diese CNT-Teilchen fungieren als Stützfeiler in Miniaturgröße und stärken die Verbundschichten. Mit CNT behandelte Rahmen besitzen eine 14 Mal höhere Stoßfestigkeit als Rahmen ohne CNT und sind bis zu 100 g leichter.
