2017 Giro d'Italia Champion
In 2017 I had the honor of being the first Dutch rider to win the Giro d'Italia. I've also finished on the podium at the Tour de France and had some memorable stage wins and a world championship on my Giant Trinity TT bike. The best years during my racing career were on Giant bikes, so I'm thrilled to now be an ambassador for a brand that I have such an amazing relationship with. I retired from professional racing in 2022, but I still love riding with friends and meeting and inspiring new riders everywhere.
