I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago and have been living in Los Angeles for the past 15 years. Growing up, I was introduced to the sport by riding off a piece of plywood propped up by some bricks in front of my home. That led to me traveling all over the country, going to BMX contests and exploring new cities with friends I met through BMX. After dealing with injuries year after year from riding BMX, it was a natural progression to “big wheel bikes.” I still feel like a kid in front of my childhood home when I’m out on the road or trail.
