The MPH Brake System provides an accessible entry into hydraulic disc braking, operating via a mechanical lever but offering as much as 20% more power than a mechanical only disc-brake system.

Via an increased master cylinder and caliper piston ratio and increased force on the calipers, the MPH Brake System delivers up to 20% more braking power than mechanical only systems, offering comparable performance to full-hydraulic Shimano 105 disc brakes at a more accessible price point.

With a linear braking curve, the MPH Brake System ensures braking power increases steadily as you squeeze the lever, providing smooth and precise modulation. A refined brake pad compound also prevents heat-induced brake fade, further enhancing power and control.

The MPH Brake System is engineered for reliable performance in all weather conditions. It’s dual-compound brake pads and specially designed rotors deliver an ideal balance of power and control, minimizing the risk of wheel lock-up. In wet conditions, braking performance rivals that of a full hydraulic Shimano 105 disc brake system.

Streamlined Setup

Compatible with both internal and external cable routing, the master cylinder integrates directly with the Contact AeroLite stem—no adapter needed—cleanly guiding external cables beneath the stem for an aerodynamic setup. With a vertical adapter, it can also be configured for externally routed cockpits.
