Professional-grade raw carbon material is woven in our own composite factory using our most advanced engineering and construction methods including: Continuous Fiber Technology to add strength while reducing weight; Carbon Nanotube Technology resin to improve impact resistance; and Fusion Process for lighter, stronger frame junctions.

TCR Advanced SL Disc
TOTAL SPEED. TOTAL CONTROL.
Highlights
From the superior stiffness-to-weight ratio of its Advanced SL composite frame to its integrated disc brakes including flat mounts and thru-axles—everything about this bike screams high performance. It’s the choice of Team CCC WorldTour racers for challenging road courses that favor all-rounder abilities. Our tubeless WheelSystem delivers speed and efficiency with a smoother ride and a reduced risk of flats. The Variant integrated seatpost balances efficiency and compliance. Proven Compact Road geometry, an OverDrive 2 steerer tube, and the massive MegaDrive downtube all work together to deliver legendary handling that’s synonymous with the TCR name.

Advanced Composite SL Frame
Optimized Tube Shaping
Every tube shape in the Advanced SL-grade composite frame is engineered to minimize weight, maintain stiffness and improve overall ride quality.
Advanced SL Composite Fork
Complete composite construction and a minimalist design reduces weight while increasing stiffness. The redesigned OverDrive 2 steerer tube positions the lower bearing higher in the headtube, resulting in an improved transfer of force to the frame for sharp steering and cornering capabilities plus a smooth overall ride quality.
Disc-Brake Integration
The frame and fork are engineered specifically for flat-mount disc brakes, including front and rear 12mm thru-axles for the most reliable braking and handling in all types of weather and road conditions.
MegaDrive
A massive rectangular-shaped downtube links together the OverDrive front end and PowerCore bottom bracket. This precisely engineered tube shape yields optimal steering and pedaling stiffness while minimizing overall frame weight.
PowerCore
The oversized bottom bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated 86mm wide BB design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Variant Integrated Seatpost
Specifically engineered for the needs of competitive road racers, Variant’s refined shape and integrated design result in a ride quality that perfectly balances compliance and efficiency.
Internal Cable Routing
New internal cable routing with larger ports and a tool-free bottom bracket guide, designed for easy cable installation without any added weight.
Giant Wheelsystem and Tubeless Tires
Giant’s SLR Composite Disc WheelSystem and the all-new CADEX tubeless ready tires combine seamlessly to deliver a new level of efficiency, comfort and control.
OverDrive 2
The most advanced steerer tube technology in today’s Giant bikes. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower, 1 1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.

Techs & Features
Advanced SL Composite Technology
Professional Grade raw carbon fiber is woven in our composite factory to produce our lightest, stiffest and highest quality frames. This is the technology used by Giant’s pro racers in almost every cycling discipline.
Compact Road Design
Introduced by Giant with the professional Team ONCE in the 1990s, Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of all sizes to have a perfect fit.
MegaDrive
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
PowerCore
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
RideSense
Giant’s chainstay integrated, wireless data transmitter. The removable transmitter sends wheel speed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.
Tubeless System
Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
