Reign Advanced E+

At the heart of this brawny trail machine is a Maestro rear suspension system with smooth, active performance and a bottomless feel. Using every bit of its 170mm of travel, and paired with a plush 180mm fork, it’s the most advanced suspension setup ever on a Giant E-MTB. It’s engineered and tuned for unprecedented control and confidence on a wide range of terrain—from high-speed stutter bumps to chunky rock gardens, jumps and blind drops.

The SyncDrive Pro 3 motor was built around this setup. It’s fully integrated with the Maestro suspension and the frameset—so you get all the power of the new 48-volt powertrain without compromising the proven performance of the Maestro design. With its floating pivot—always active and efficient under pedalling—it’s engineered to produce a progressive leverage curve. That means it’s easy to compress at the top and super-supportive near the end of its stroke, giving the bike a plush, confident feel that uses the full length of suspension travel.

When you’re climbing to get to the next descent, you want a high level of peak power to make quick work of the steepest, most challenging sections. You also want a long-lasting battery for big days in the backcountry. And you want lightweight agility for optimal handling on technical terrain, uphill or downhill.

The Reign Advanced E+ was designed and engineered with these factors in mind. The frameset is constructed with Advanced-grade composite for light weight combined with optimal strength and stiffness, resulting in a 25% weight savings compared to the aluminium model (size medium).

The SyncDrive Pro 3 motor has an entirely new design, going from a 36-volt system to 48 volts. This allows the entire system to run at 30% lower amperages at the same power level, which means heat reduction and greater efficiency. As a result, the motor can sustain high torque levels—up to 800 watts of peak power—even at higher pedalling cadences. So you feel powerful, consistent support in any riding situation.

Built to shred hard and take a beating, the Reign Advanced E+ features key innovations to protect your investment. The frame has an integrated dual-density battery cover on the underside of the down tube. In addition to safeguarding the battery and frame against rocks and other debris, it protects the bike when it’s loaded on chairlift mounts, trailer carriers, or pickup truck beds.

The motor is shielded by a replaceable titanium skid plate. Corrosion-resistant and twice as strong as aluminium, the titanium material also has a lower friction coefficient, which means you’re less likely to get hung up if you hit a rock, roots or other obstacles.

To protect the chainring and chain, we turned to specialists MRP to create an industry-first active bash guard. It has a unique suspended design and elastomer damper to absorb any hits—reducing impacts to help protect the motor and frame.

Powering a new 48-volt system that’s purpose-built for the needs of E-MTB riding, this integrated 560Wh battery produces more power with less stress on its cells. It’s exceptionally durable, giving you up to 2300 full charge cycles—more than any other E-bike battery. And it recharges rapidly, reaching 80% battery capacity in as little as two hours.

Built with a sturdy aluminium casing and a tough dual-density cover, the EnergyPak 560 is rated for safety and impact resistance according to the highest test standards in the industry. It’s produced under the guidelines of our CO2 neutral battery initiative—a commitment to lead the bike industry and minimise our environmental impact as the first manufacturer to use E-bike batteries from a CO2 neutral plant.

The battery is designed as a modular system, with the main EnergyPak 560 neatly integrated into the down tube. Beyond that, you can add a 280Wh range extender for an 840Wh capacity. This gives you the choice—lighter weight for everyday rides or longer range for epic ride days.

The motor is also highly tunable, letting you adjust torque and support levels to match your ride. Go full power for steep climbs, or dial it back to save energy on long rides.

With our Launch Control feature, you can also adjust acceleration. Choose from seven settings, from controlled to aggressive. For low-traction situations, you might choose a lower level, which can take up to 2.5 seconds to achieve full torque. Or if you’re riding grippy terrain and want an instant response, the highest setting offers maximum torque in just a few milliseconds.

The new RideControl Ergo 4 builds on the previous generation Ergo 3 with a sleek, grip-integrated 3-button remote control unit. It blends seamlessly with your handlebar and grips and has a larger, more concave shape and improved tactile feedback. The buttons are designed to make it easy to switch power modes, even in rough riding conditions or when you’re wearing thick gloves. You can install it on the left or right side—or both for ultimate control. And the RideControl App lets you configure it to your own personal preferences.

Beautifully integrated into the top tube of the Reign Advanced E+, RideControl Go Lux features a new larger 2.4-inch, high-resolution colour screen that clearly displays key ride data including speed, time, distance, and cadence—along with battery status, remaining range and front and rear tire pressure. A single intuitive button lets you easily power the bike on or off, accompanied by clear audio cues. It has a robust waterproof rating and internal cable routing, allowing for a sleek, uncluttered cockpit setup.
