Thomas Crimmins crowned the King of Cannonball!


Over the weekend hundreds of riders from all around the country descended into Thredbo for the annual Cannonball MTB Festival for a festival atmosphere and a tonne of hotly contested racing!

Representing the Giant Australia DH Team were Thomas Crimmins, Jordan Prochyra, Ben Cory and Thomas' younger brother Andrew who has signed back with Giant for the coming domestic season.

After taking out the King of Cannonball for the last two years, Thomas returned once again to give the title his best shot. Taking into account the results of many events throughout the weekend in both Enduro and DH racing, Thomas reigned as the King once again after a strong 3rd place in the GoPro Australian Open downhill event. His 2017 Glory Advanced doing a stellar job all weekend over the rough and rocky Thredbo course.

Also making a guest appearance for the weekend was Giant Factory Off-Road Team rider and Aussie Josh Carlson who is spending his summer break back in Australia before the Enduro World Series resumes once again in 2017.

Josh took out the win in the Maxxis Flow Motion Cup and was all smiles back on Aussie soil.
