TCR Advanced Pro Wins Bicycling Editors' Choice!
Bicycling Magazine has chosen the 2017 TCR Advanced Pro for one of its prestigious Editors’ Choice awards in the road bike category. The lightweight composite racer is one of three Giant bikes (plus one for Giant’s sister brand Liv) to make the highly selective list of just 16 bikes this year.
“Giant’s extensive carbon fiber experience—it’s one of the few bike makers to control its entire production process from raw thread—shows in this sterling race bike,” wrote Bicycling editor Joe Lindsey. “It’s a prime example of the pricing sweet spot for road bikes.”
Editors pointed out the smooth, responsive ride quality and all-around road racing versatility of this year’s TCR Advanced Pro. “With snappy drivetrain response, nervy-but-not-nervous handling and a silky ride that’s not too common to race-focused machines, we’d pilot the TCR Advanced Pro on anything from a Tuesday night training crit to a week-long stage race.”
