Complete Your Rider Experience
This modern all-rounder is built on a lightweight aluminium frame paired with a composite fork to give you control and comfort that goes the distance. There’s extra clearance for wide, high-volume tyres—the kind you need for unpredictable or changing road surfaces. The components are engineered for whatever the road dishes out. The seatpost and cockpit add smooth compliance, giving you comfort that won’t quit when you push past old limits. Any distance, all types of roads. With the new Content AR.
Key Performance Factors
ALL-ROAD FAST
An aero-shaped down tube and composite fork form a sleek profile that cuts through wind and absorbs road shocks and vibrations. Wide tyre clearance (up to 43mm) lets you run high-volume tyres for a smoother, more efficient ride over rough roads or gravel. Giant P-AR wheels offer an all-rounder rim depth of 23mm and robust aluminium construction that’s lightweight and strong enough to handle everyday use on variable road surfaces. The cockpit setup features internally routed cables to further reduce wind drag and create a clean, modern look.
ENDURANCE INSPIRED
A D-Fuse composite seatpost absorbs road shocks and vibrations from the rear wheel, while an Advanced-grade composite fork reduces road chatter up front. These proven technologies, borrowed from high-performance Giant road bikes, add compliance to help minimise fatigue on long rides. The Giant Approach saddle uses Particle Flow Technology to conform to your body. High-volume Gavia Fondo 2 32mm tubeless tyres allow you to run lower tyre pressure for better grip and a smoother ride quality. The tyres feature Race Shield Kevlar puncture protection to help prevent tyre punctures.
COMMAND CONTROL
An ergonomically designed handlebar optimises hand comfort in every position, from the tops to the hoods to the drops. The drops have 7.2-degree flare for greater confidence and control while descending and cornering. Hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent, predictable braking power and help minimise hand fatigue on long descents. A proven Shimano drivetrain offers a wide range of gears for optimal pedaling cadence on variable terrain.
Highlights
1
Aluxx SL Aluminium
State-of-the-art aluminium material delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. The frameset also features double-butted tubing, FluidForm shaping, and innovative welding technologies including Smooth Weld to give it a high-performance ride quality.
2
Advanced-Grade Composite Fork
Designed to absorb road shocks, vibrations and impacts for a smoother ride and reduced hand and arm fatigue. Wide tire clearance (up to 43mm) accommodates high-volume tyres, making it equally capable on rough roads, mixed surfaces, and gravel adventures.
3
OverDrive
An oversized fork steerer tube increases front-end stiffness for precise steering at speed, giving you greater control through corners and over uneven terrain.
4
Disc-Brake Integration
The frame and fork are engineered specifically for Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, delivering powerful, reliable braking performance in all weather and road conditions.
5
Internal Cable Routing
Brake and shifter cables are routed internally through the handlebar, stem and frameset for aero optimization and a clean, uncluttered look.
6
Ergonomic Cockpit
Alloy handlebar with an expanded surface area evenly distributes pressure across the palm and thumb web. The bar is designed for comfort in every position, from the tops to the hoods to the drops. A 7.2-degree flare adds control while descending and cornering.
7
D-Fuse Seatpost
Composite D-shaped seatpost damps vibrations and absorbs road shock, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride quality.
8
Giant Approach Saddle
Particle Flow Technology uses free-moving particles in the padding to adapt to a rider’s body and spread pressure more evenly. The result is greater comfort for everyday rides and longer days in the saddle.
9
32mm Tubeless Tyres
Giant Gavia Fondo 2 32mm tubeless tyres combine efficient rolling with added grip and cushioning for rough pavement and light gravel. Frame and fork clearance for tyres up to 43mm lets riders add more volume for extra control and grip on more rugged routes.
10
P-AR Wheels
Strong, lightweight and structurally stiff aluminium alloy wheels with 23mm deep rims deliver versatile all-road speed, efficiency and everyday durability.
Techs & Features
ALUXX SL Aluminium Technology
This High-Performance level, state-of-the-art aluminium material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
Advanced Composite Technology
Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and moulded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
D-Fuse Technology
The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar were designed to function as a system, absorbing road shocks and vibrations so you can ride further, faster.
Tubeless System
Fewer flat tyres. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
