State-of-the-art aluminium material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.

Trance X
FUN FACTOR
Highlights
Built for those who favour the responsive, agile handling of 27.5 wheels, Trance X features a flip chip that lets you adjust the frame geometry for riding style and terrain. You can choose a steeper or slacker head tube angle and either a 20mm or 30mm bottom bracket drop. The ALUXX SL aluminium frame has an updated Maestro rear suspension featuring 145mm of smooth, active rear travel. A trunnion-mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm help soak up bumps, giving you traction and control to float through rocks, roots and ruts. Confidence is further bolstered by a 160mm travel suspension fork up front.

ALUXX SL
Maestro Suspension Technology
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system.
Advanced Forged Composite
A state-of-the-art, high-pressure moulding process is used to produce a complex shaped carbon-fibre upper rocker arm that is lighter, stiffer and stronger than an aluminium version.
Trunnion Mount
Integrated shock mount produces a lower leverage ratio for increased pedalling and braking efficiency, plus a lower center of gravity and shorter chainstays for improved handling, climbing and agility.
Adjustable Frame Geometry
Flip chip adjustability lets you switch between two settings depending on the terrain you are riding. You can choose the low position for fast, aggressive terrain, or high for a more XC-oriented rider position.
27.5 Wheels
An ideal balance of agility and control, these wheels let you roll over rough terrain, flick the bike at speed, change lines quickly, and explode out of corners.
OverDrive
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Integrated Frame Protection
Drive-side chainstay and down tube feature built-in protection against rocks and debris.
Boost Technology
Wider hub spacing (110mm front/148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tyre clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance.
Giant Tubeless System
Integrated Tubeless WheelSystem and tyres deliver improved efficiency, comfort and control in the most user-friendly and reliable system.

Flip Chip - Maestro
The flip chip allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better suit how and where they ride. It lets riders change the headtube/seattube angles and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-position) hardware located on the upper rocker arm.
Maestro Suspension Technology
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
OverDrive
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
