Van der Haar joined the Rabobank-Giant squad before the start of the 2010-2011 season, kicking things off with a podium finish at a nighttime race in Las Vegas. Things took off from there, as he went on a tear in all of the sport’s most important events in Europe. His season concluded at World Championships in St. Wendel, Germany, where he won the U23 World Championship title.
