Dutch duo Lars Boom and Jos Van Emden led the Rabobank team at the Eneco Tour stage race, which concluded its weeklong tour through The Netherlands and Belgium on Sunday. Boom powered his Giant TCR Advanced SL to a third-place finish in Sunday’s tough final stage, a 201km route that covered many of the same roads and hills of the Dutch spring classic race Amstel Gold.

Boom’s strong ride in the final stage, which highlighted terrain riders will see at next year's Road World Championships, was one of three top-five stage finishes. He also finished fifth in the prologue and the Stage 4 time trial. Boom rode his Giant Trinity Advanced SL TT bike for both.

Van Emden secured the highest overall ranking for Rabobank. The 26-year-old rode consistently throughout the week and finished fifth overall, less than a minute behind overall winner Edvald Boasson Hagen of Norway. Led by Van Emden, the Rabobank ended up third of 20 teams in the final Teams General Classification.
