Rabo-Giant Podiums at Euro MTB Events

Swedish rider Emil Lindgren was top-five in both stages of Saalhausen, the short-track and the XC.
Emil Lindgren and Marco Minnaard of the Rabobank-Giant Off-Road Team rode their Giant XtC Advanced SL bikes to second and third respectively in the short-track stage of the May 14-15 second round of the Bundesliga MTB Series in Saalhausen, Germany. Lindgren was also fourth in the cross-country stage, followed closely by Swiss teammate Fabian Giger.
The Rabobank-Giant team brought a strong squad to the German event; junior world champion Michiel van der Heijden also rode well, finishing third in the Under-23 XC race and 10th in the short-track, which combined elite and U23 men.
In other weekend racing, 22-year-old Henk Jaap Moorlag won the eighth edition of the Stappenbelt Rabobank Mountain Bike Trophy event in his home nation of The Netherlands. Moorlag edged out Australian Chris Jongewaard by 4 seconds.
