HIGH ROAD WITH ANOTHER GREAT WEEK; STAPLETON THANKS SPONSORS

Morris Possoni – won Sprint Classification in Tour of Romandie

Riding the prototype Giant TCR Advanced SL, riders from both the men’s and women’s squads of Team High Road scored impressive finishes recently.

In the Tour of Romandie, Marco Pinotti placed third in the G.C. in the 5-stage race; Morris Possoni won the sprint classification. With Teammate Mark Cavendish’s win in the short prologue, Team High Road is positioned very well going into the Giro d’Italia on May 10.

Judith Arndt took second place in the Tour de Berne in Switzerland. The finish puts Arndt in the lead in the World Cup standings.

In the Gracia Orlova in the Czech Republic, Ina Yoko-Teutenberg claimed the victory in the final stage of the race; and her team mate Luise Keller ended the race second overall in the G.C.

In a letter sent to sponsors and supporters of Team High Road, team General Manager Bob Stapleton pointed to the multiple successes of the Team so far this season, and credited the support the team has received for much of its success:

“As you’ve seen, our men and women are riding exceptionally well and winning races on a regular basis. To date we have won 50 races: 27 in the men’s team and 23 in the women’s team,” Stapleton writes. “Our athletes believe they have the best materials, the best sponsors, and the best tools and techniques in the sport. The innovative products and services you provide are essential to the team success. While we come from 17 different countries at Team High Road, we are all proud of progress of the team and very pleased to represent our partners.”
