From the cyclocross powerhouse nation of Belgium, Bart Aernouts has long been one of the most consistent pros in the game. He first gained international recognition ten years ago when he won the Junior World Championship in The Netherlands. Last season, a decade after he scored that gold medal in the town of St. Michielgestel, Aernouts struck again with another win there, this time as a seasoned pro. Aernouts was a consistent top-10 finisher in World Cup and Superprestige races last year, and finished the season ranked 6th in the world. He's focused on improving further in 2010-2011 and will be aiming for podiums at the world's biggest ’cross races.
