Three-Day Event Raising Funds for Young Survival Coalition

The 2011 East Coast YSC Tour de Pink took place over three days, from Sept. 23 through Sept. 25, starting in Morristown and ending in Long Branch, NJ. More than 100 riders took part raising funds to ensure that no young woman has to face breast cancer alone.

Even though rain fell on the riders during two of the three days, their enthusiasm wasn’t dampened as they rode to benefit the Young Survival Coalition. The YSC is the premier global organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Giant Bicycle is a sponsor of the YSC Tour de Pink, providing bicycles and support to riders. The company also hosts the West Coast YSC Tour de Pink from October 14th through the 16th. Giant’s southern CA headquarters will be the starting point for 75 riders who will roll up the coast to Santa Barbara and back to Malibu.
