ADAM CRAIG TAKES 2 AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

(July 23, 2007) Giant Mountain Bike Team Superstar Adam Craig is tops in two events at the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships at Mt. Snow in Vermont.   Craig continued his supremacy in the Super D, winning his fourth successive title on Sunday July 22nd. The day before, Adam rode his way into his first-ever national title in the Pro XC race,   Saturday’s XC race saw Craig, riding his Giant Anthem Advanced, easily defeat Jeremiah Bishop (Trek/VW) and Mike Broderick (Kenda/Seven) on a muddy Mt. Snow course that seemed to swallow everyone, except Adam, in a sticky mess.    Celebrating his first XC national title, Craig crossed the finish line with a wheelie, to the cheering crowd. He was 4:26 ahead of Bishop, and 6:36 in front of Broderick.   In Sunday’s Super D, Adam won his second national title in as many days. He bested Mike West (Maverick) by :14 seconds.   In the Short Track competition just a few hours later, Adam just missed his third national title. Ryan Trebon beat Craig by only :12 seconds   First year Giant MTB Team rider Kelli Emmett took third place in the Pro Women’s Super D event, behind winner Rachel Lloyd and 2nd place finisher Marla Streb.   Complete details of the weekend’s race can be found at:   www.usacycling.org
