Show Highlights

OverDrive 2

Giant’s all-new oversize fork steerer-tube technology. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversize headset bearings and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.

Integrated Seatpost

As the pioneer of the integrated seatpost, Giant continues to improve its original design with lighter weight (approximately 45 grams of weight savings, compared to a standard composite seatpost), improved aerodynamics and an even greater "tuned" forgiving ride feel. An all-new adjustable saddle clamp offers -5 or +25 millimeters of offset for precise saddle position.

Fusion Process

Advanced SL toptubes are “grafted” to the seattube using filament winding and co-molding. This complex process involves hand weaving the two tubes together, then re-molding the area under heat and high pressure to unify the junction—resulting in a lighter, stronger junction than with traditional molding.

CNT Technology

Carbon Nanotube Technology refers to a microscopic polymer added to Giant’s custom-blended resin. Acting like miniature buttresses, CNT particles strengthen the layers of composite. Frames treated with CNT are 14 percent more impact-resistant than those that aren’t.

Continuous Fiber Technology

A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front-end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented pedaling stiffness.

RideSense

Giant’s all-new chainstay integrated, wireless data transmitter. The fully integrated, removable transmitter sends wheelspeed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.

Composite Bottom Bracket Shell

No longer using aluminum inserts, Giant’s all-new composite bottom bracket shells save 15 grams over its alloy-reinforced predecessor. High compression, multi-directional composite ensures long life.

Composite Dropouts

Free of alloy tips, Giant’s all-new composite fork and frame dropouts save 15 grams over their predecessors. High compression, multi-directional composite ensures long life—even after repeated clamping.

WeightHow much does this bike weigh? It’s a common question, and rightly so. But the truth is, there are no industry standards for claiming bike weights—and this leads to a lot of misinformation. Variances exist based on size, frame material, finish and hardware. And as bikes get lighter, these differences become more critical. At Giant, we believe the only way to truly know the weight of any particular bike is to find out for yourself at your local retailer.
