Team Adventure Sport NZ was formed by 3 x World Champion Adventure racer Richard Ussher at the beginning of 2007 after he previously been a member of world champion teams Nike USA and before that Seagate / Balance Vector.

The team races 2-4 times per year and typically more in stage style races and has amassed victories around the world including every edition of the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge (2007-2010) and 3victories at the Wulong Outdoor Quest in China.

Richard and Elina are also helping develop the next generation of Adventure races in NZ and for 2014 are planning on hooking up with a team of aspiring athletes to mentor and race with them in New Zealands own "Godzone adventure race" - a 500km + unsupported expedition race.
