I Raced in Belgium for a couple of season’s then realized I was going to make it as a pro, those boys sure know how to turn a crank!
From there I came home to Christchurch, New Zealand and continued to ride and race.
My favourite cycling momnets are competeing in the Tour of Southland which I have ridden 7 times! There maybe a few more tours in me yet!?
I also Enjoy the odd MTB race, my real passion is still road though. I have been around the cycling scene for a while now. I still continue to race, always looking for that elusive victory, though it's very rare these days. I Have tried to give up competition riding a few times now, but just can’t hang the wheels up. I slowly resigned to the fact that I will be a vet soon....
Come on 35 is not really Vet age?? Is it??
A passion of mine is that I enjoy riding with Junior riders, and trying to keep them level headed and pass on as many riding tips as I can.
