Helen Jenkins eyes podium spot for Grand Final
This weekend sees Giant triathlete Helen Jenkins compete in the Grand Final of the 2010 ITU World Championship Series in Budapest, Hungary. Jenkins who was World Champion in 2008 and took the bronze spot at the Grand Final at the Gold Coast in 2009 currently sits at fourth place behind Emma Moffat of Australia, Andrea Hewitt of New Zealand and Lisa Norden of Sweden. But a good result in Budapest could see her climb onto the podium for a second consecutive year. Helen goes into the race in great shape with some great training over the last few weeks so all fingers crossed for a great result. Catch all the action live at triathlon.org/tv
Meanwhile husband and fellow Olympian Marc Jenkins, whose 2010 season highlights are Silver at Gamagori and Bronze at Sendai Bay Asian Cup races, will be targeting the last two World Cup races of the year to improve his World Ranking; continuing his return to form following long term injury. Both athletes race on Giant TCR Advanced SL which features state of the art construction techniques using the highest quality Toray T-800 raw composite for the ultimate in power transfer, light weight and efficiency.
