It is with great pleasure that we can announce Giant as the major sponsor of the St Kilda Cycling Club womens teams. As part of SKCC commitment to the development of womens cycling SKCC will field two womens teams to participate in both road and criterium teams racing over the next Twelve months.
Giant will work in collaboration with Pro-Motion Bicycles to provide bikes, bike fitting, servicing and maintenance for the teams. Pro-Motion has offered their services in the support of SKCC and womens cycling.
Pictured here signing the agreement are (LtoR) Gaelene Snelling SKCC Womens Committee Leon Nardella Pro-Motion proprietor and Darren Rutherford from Giant Bicycles.
Darren never short of a few words is amped to assist with SKCC with their emphasis on participation and developing womens cycling. According to Leon, cycling should be fun and thats what St Kilda does for cycling- they make it fun.
Of course a lot of work goes on behind the scenes and St Kilda Cycling Club would like to thank SKCC members Gaelene Snelling, Lisa Byrne and Christine Foster for their commitment to developing the womens team program now in its second year.
