Giant/Drapac bike launch

2010 Training camp

Giant and Drapac Professional cycling have signed partnership for the 2010 year. The philosophy of the Drapac-Porsche Program aims to ensure its riders are not "lost" at the end of their sporting careers by committing sufficient resources to develop an athlete's skill set and life balance, which will support their wellbeing beyond their productive sporting career in conjunction with developing their sporting potential.

The well recognised development team have already had some great results earlier in the year from Victoria's Bay crit series to stage wins in the Tour of Langkawi.

Upon receiving their new 2010 Giant TCR SL1's recently, team captain Stu Shaw organised a training camp for the guys in Canberra and invited Michael Gayfer from Giant bicycles to see the guys test out their new rigs.

"The bikes feel amazing" said Shaw, "very responsive, plus they look great with our team kit"

The team are heading To Tour Europe throughout May and June 2010.

"We are confident heading overseas with such great bikes and a strong team. After Europe we look forward to returning and racing domestic season"
