New Drapac recruit Floris Goesinnen from the Netherlands has ridden to a solo stage victory in the longest stage of the 2011 Tour de Taiwan. The 182.7km stage started in Hsinchu City in Northern Taiwan and travelled south to Sun Moon Lake in what was a difficult stage with many elevation changes over the course of the day.

Floris and another rider Feng Chun Kai attacked the peloton with 30km remaining and Floris ended up being too strong, riding solo into the finish at Sun Moon Lake with a comfortable 42 second margin over second place rider Kam Po Wong from Hong Kong.
