Cycling Weekly Names Defy Advanced Pro Endurance Bike of the Year!
November 30, 2015
Cycling Weekly announced the winners for its 2016 Bike of the Year Awards this week, and the Defy Advanced Pro took top honors in the Endurance Bike category.
Seeking a road bike “that is ideally suited for making those long days in the saddle just that little bit easier,” Cycling Weekly editors singled out the Defy Advanced Pro, noting its smooth-riding geometry, longer wheelbase, and D-Fuse composite seatpost design.
Summing up the bike’s well-rounded capabilities, Cycling Weekly wrote: “While a lot of endurance bikes focus on comfort at the expense of all other factors, the Giant Defy Advanced Pro is a much more balanced bike that eats up long days in the saddle for breakfast, but still has a performance edge for when you want to up your average speed and win that sprint for the town sign.”
