ADAM CRAIG STARTS NMBS SEASON STRONG

Fontana, CA (March 29-30, 2008) – The Giant Mountain Bike Team began the 2008 season with NMBS#1 in Fontana. In Men’s Short Track, Adam Craig placed second in a hard fought contest, only :01 second behind winner Barry Wicks of Team Kona. Craig also placed second in the Elite Men’s XC race, behind Geoff Kabush of Team Maxxis. Craig was trying out a new bike in the XC event, built particularly for him by Giant to use at the Beijing Olympics in August. In other results at Fontana, Carl Decker placed 11th Men’s XC, and Kelli Emmett placed 6th in the Women’s XC race. And in the Elite Men’s DH, Jared Rando and Oscar Saiz of Team Giant placed 10th and 11th respectively.
