T-MOBILE WINS SECOND VUELTA STAGE!

(September 14, 2007) Riding a Giant TCR Advanced T-Mobile Team bicycle, T-Mobile's Andreas Klier won stage 13 of the Vuelta a España in the first successful breakaway of this year's race. The German pipped Tom Stamsnidjer (Gerolsteiner) to the line after a 176km trek from Hellín to Torre-Pacheco - making it two stage wins for the magenta team at the Vuelta this week, following Bert Grabsch's stage 8 time trial win.

It was the 31-year-old Klier's best result since he was Tour of Flanders runner-up in 2005. The Classic specialist also took victory in the 2003 Gent-Wevelgem.

"This was a very important win for me after such a long time, but really it doesn't sort out what's been a tough season for me," Klier said.

"I had a bad crash early in the spring and it wrecked my Classics season, which is the high point of my year. The good news is that this win gives me morale for 2008."
