ADAM CRAIG IN TOP TEN AT ST- FELICIEN!!

(July 2, 2007) On Sunday, July 1, the world’s best XC mountain bike riders gathered in St-Felicien, Quebec for World Cup #5. When the dust (actually, rain) settled, Giant MTB Team member Adam Craig finished 10th out of a field of more than 90 world-class riders. Craig’s teammate, Carl Decker, finished 47th.

It is Craig’s second consecutive World Cup top-ten finish. At St-Felicien, Adam was the highest placed North American rider. Canadian riders Seamus McGrath and Geoff Kabush finished 18th and 20th, respectively. US rider Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski was 24th.   The winner of the event, Julien Absalon of France, finished the technical course in 2 hours, 7 minutes, 5 seconds. Adam Craig’s finishing time was 5 minutes, 39 seconds behind Absalon.   Photos from St-Felicien were taken by Giant MTB Team Road Manager, Elke Brutsaert.
