Oli Beckingsale marked the start of his racing season with a win in Ireland at the weekend. In the first of four Kcapital UCI International races, and the first Irish Olympic Qualification race for 2008, Oli was always going to be up against it, especially as the Irish Champion Robin Seymour not only designed the super technical circuit but was going to be racing it.
“It was finally time to pin a number on and start racing and it was a good start to the year,” said Oli, “I was under pressure from Robin early on the tech stuff but as he tired I moved up to the front on lap 4 and finally went on to win by a minute.”
Following his successful start to the 2008 season, Oli will next be racing on the road with a 1 Day South East Series Race and the 3 Day Girvan National Series Race.
Keep up the great work Oli!
