SUCCESSFUL SEASON FOR SHOP SPONSORED TRIATHLETE

One of Giant's leading retailers, Offcamber, has shown this year how the investment of an Independent Bike Dealer can benefit those seeking to advance their riding career.

The shop sponsored triathlete Sarah Wheeler throughout the season, providing her with a top end Giant bike (the Trinity Alliance 1 as seen in the picture), and also support in terms of parts, kit, etc allowing her to record some great results. Out of 12 races entered, Sarah claimed a podium place in 8, which is a fantastic success rate. The pick of the season's results included finishing first at the Colehill event in June, and being the first of her age group to complete the Bath Sprint in July.

Sarah's achievements highlight the continuing importance to cycling of the IBD, without who a number of riders like Sarah would perhaps never get to realise their potential. The investment made by the dealers does not go unnoticed by Giant, and the company is constantly looking for ways to assist the IBD market move forward.
