Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide solid front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Modified Monocoque Construction
Similar to Monocoque technology, but Modified Monocoque eliminates the outermost woven composite sheet (found on heavier framesets) to reduce weight without affecting ride quality, strength or stiffness.
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimetre-wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front-end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented pedalling stiffness.
This full-composite, lightweight (210 grams) and highly aerodynamic seatpost is engineered specifically for the unyielding demands of the performance-minded road rider. Increased fore/aft stiffness provides maximum energy transmission, improved aerodynamics (compared to a traditional round seatpost) and two offset options (-5 to +25mm).
To minimise weight, Giant engineers use FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to develop a strategic layup
schedule of Uni-Directional and woven composite. This ensures the precise amount of composite material where a frame requires it and minimises excess material where the structure doesn’t.

|Weight||The most accurate way to determine any bike’s weight is to have your local dealer weigh it for you. Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on size, finish, hardware and accessories. All Giant bikes are designed for best-in-class weight and ride quality.|
