I first got into riding because everyone on my dirt road had a bike. We used to build jumps on the street and a mate said I should race. So in 2005, I raced my first state race with my awesome local club (Inside Line) and I was hooked from there. I rode my first full season as a junior in 06/07 and won, which I then gained selection into the Worlds team.
My goals are to be selected on the senior Australian Downhill team and to race the World Championships again against the best riders in the world. For any younger riders out there looking to improve their skills in racing or in any type of 2 wheeled activities, the only thing stopping you from improving is your head. Keep practising, and find someone to look up to and learn from, be confident with everything. but make sure, whatever or wherever you are riding, it is fun!!!
