Sorge Podiums at French Contest
Giant Factory Off-Road Team rider Kurt Sorge scored a podium finish at the Chatel Mountain Style freeride contest in France Sunday. Riding his Giant Faith, the Canadian mastered the big drops, steep chutes and gap jumps, putting in a spectacular finals run to finish third. The 22-year-old got big cheers with a backflip over a large gap jump near the end of his run.
This year marked the fifth edition of Chatel Mountain Style, which is held in the French Alps. Sorge finished second in his qualifying run and then third in his finals run. Check out his finals run in the video above.
Next up for Sorge is the Crankworx Whistler event, held later this month in his home nation of Canada.
