British downhiller Danny Hart led the Giant Factory Off-Road Team with a fourth-place finish at Sunday's Round 4 of the UCI World Cup Series in Canada. Hart’s South African teammate Andrew Neethling finished ninth, giving the team two top-10 placings on a challenging course in Mont-Ste-Anne, Québec.

Both Hart and Neethling mastered the technical eastern Canadian track, which featured roots, rocks and changing conditions, on their Giant Glory team bikes.

The top-five finishers were tightly bunched on the exceptionally long Mont-Ste-Anne course. Hart finished with a time of 4:34.45, less that 3 seconds off the winning time of American Aaron Gwin. It was the second podium finish of a breakout season for the 19-year-old Brit. Hart now sits fourth overall in the season standings heading into next week’s round 5 in New York.

Neethling, who struggled with bad luck and crashes in the first few rounds of the World Cup, had a clean finals run at Mont-Ste-Anne. The South African National Champion took over the hot seat with the fastest time before eventually finishing ninth, his first top-10 World Cup result since he joined the Factory Off-Road Team before the 2011 season.

The third member of the Factory Off-Road Team's downhill squad, American Duncan Riffle, finished 37th, helping team finish fourth in the team rankings for round 4.

Also representing the Factory Off-Road Team at Mont-Ste-Anne was British Olympian Liam Killeen in the men’s cross-country race. Killeen finished 31st on his Giant XtC Advanced SL team bike and currently sits 24th overall in the series.

Next up for the Factory Off-Road Team is Round 5 of the World Cup in Windham, New York, July 9-10.
