Bracht Wins Ironman Lanzarote!

Bracht is on a roll in Ironman competition.
Giant-sponsored triathlete Timo Bracht won the Ironman Lanzarote Canarias Saturday, setting a new course record at the triathlon event in Spain.
After coming out of the water 1:20 behind fellow German Konstantin Bachor, Bracht posted a solid bike time on his Giant Trinity Advanced SL. He closed the gap to Bachor on the run, and went on to win by a healthy margin of more than 14 minutes. Bracht’s time of 8:30:34 shattered the old course record by more than 5 minutes.
The win was Bracht’s second straight in Ironman competition. He also won Ironman Arizona last fall.
