Bos Sprints to Stage 3 Eneco Tour Win!

8 August 2012

Theo Bos of the Rabobank team won the third stage at the Tour of Eneco Wednesday, sprinting to his first career WorldTour win on his Giant TCR Advanced SL. It was the 28-year-old Dutchman’s fourth win of the 2012 season.

Stage 3 of the seven-day race, which goes through The Netherlands and Belgium, followed a 188km route from Riemst to the finish in Genk, Belgium. Bos credited his Rabobank squad for setting him up for the win.

“Yesterday we could already see that the whole team was strong,” he told Cyclingnews.com. “It’s nice that I am able to finish it off.”

After three stages, Rabobank’s top GC rider is Lars Boom, just 4 seconds behind race leader Jens Keukeleire of Belgium.
