BIO

I grew up, and still live in Canberra, Australia. When I was younger I was always into riding bikes, skating and snowboarding. My Dad bought me my first mountain bike to ride to school and I began to ride for fun up on the local mountain not really knowing what I was doing. I hooked up with some people to ride with and they said "hey, you're pretty good—you should try racing." So I did. From then on racing has been my life. My goals with racing have always been simple—to have fun and do the best I can. For me, racing is a pleasure in life and I really enjoy it. I have been influenced and inspired by so many people.

Every time I

watch someone else ride or I go out and have a good ride it gets me fired up to ride. My friends and family have all had a huge impact on my racing and without their support I couldn't do it, so for that I am always grateful. Beyond racing my goals in life are pretty simple. I think for the rest of my life I'll always be associated with bikes in some way so whether I end up in the industry somehow, or doing something else, I'm sure that as long as I can have time to spend with my friends and family, have time to go fishing on the weekends, and of course have time to ride—I’ll be stoked.
